Handmade books for sale:
I hand make notebooks, journals, and sketchbooks. The smallest is approximately A7 and the largest is A4. I use lined and unlined paper – 100-140gsm for most projects; heavier paper for sketchbooks and albums. The books are covered in full or part leather; or in cloth and hand decorated paper. I often use recycled book covers and, occasionally, wallpaper.

Ask for a quote for a custom handmade book. I have a range of beautiful leather in stock. You may prefer book cloth (a cotton backed colourful and durable material). Both are combined with hand decorated or commercially available paper to create distinctive books.
Books may in either case be fully bound in the chosen material or partially ie a combination of leather and/or cloth and paper. For example a half bound book comprises a matching spine and corners infilled with either book cloth or paper.
Every book is unique.
Protect your book with a hand made Solander (aka clamshell) box or a simple slip case. Clamshell boxes – because they exclude light and dust – are also ideal for protecting important documents.
